Ive noticed this amongst youngters surprisingly....a lot of protest against racism caste creed color and many more....We read it feel proud and start dreaming of a beautiful future for our world...maybe not just a beautiful India...
It is a sensitive issue and i would not talk about it or write about it or waste my time thinking about it but it is high time...i cannot sit in my place and given an opportunity i will speak about it...
A very generic conversation picked up over a status update on facebook....A few folks apparently from the same field of work writes
Have been travelling all over India for a decade now - the award for unprofessional/unreliable people goes to a particular state in south! Can't blame the companies...
Another person hailing from the same state but not even the same city....(the question is is it for attention? is it really felt?or is it just for argument sake?) comments
The award of proffesional and reliability always goes to this southern city and gives examples of Dr.Abdul kalam,A.r rahmanhails from down south and south indians do not exaggerate simple things we call white as white and black as black we eat idly by hand not by spoon ,last but not least jus because u are white not every thing you say is right Jai hind . Humble request please do not underestimate any body all Indians are talented we have to compare our self wit the rest of Indian countires in the world im sure if we are united will be the best then we can be proud.
When an Indian like the above mentioned people say Jai Hind it is like an Atheist saying God bless you.
Should the such statements be counter argued or replied to ...or should we try and make them understand the need of being neutral for a pleasant future...
But in this case there was a reply and it was
There's absolutely no question of any prejudice due to caste, color or religion - be rest assured I won't be caught dead doing that. South india is by far a better place than all of north in many areas or most areas - no doubt about it. But based on my experience on this new industry it really needs to lift its standards. Please do not make it a racist issue by mentioning stuff like eating by hand etc.
And one more thing - I don't appreciate been called by my color and accused of prejudice due to that.(racism in another form) We are talking about a particular industry here) and anyone with slightest of common sense will see the difference between northern and southern india when both are run by similar people - so it really is about locals to make the difference which I'm sure they will condisering they have done so well in everything else too
May I also as my last post on this topic apologise to you if I wrote anything that may have hurt your feelings. I'm not against anyone based on their eating habits, color etc. As pointed by you.To neutralise it In your situation i would have reacted the same way?I lost all hope here...when will we stop reacting to such things God bless India. But what do we conclude ...whay do we react to such simple over hyped conversation and not when we need to react....?
The reaction takes seconds and topics could be from manners,Habits,Food to embroidery...colors...what not..
I come across this a lot that too from well educated today's "IN" generation...that in Kerala they suck at making sambhar or tea....when they other person reacts its is an argument when they dont react they get a high a high on superiority...
Im by birth a certain caste but thank god i was brought up in another state that makes be superior?
I dont even speak my mother tongue? how many likes did you get on that...?
Change thoughts only if you are convinced....Believe and be Proud of what you are and where you are from...be proud of an A R rahman or an Abdul kalam but use their name for winning an argument...NO
Give something for your culture and no one will put your caste color or community down...
